Lettuce believe it!

Am I a missionary of the lettuce faith preaching to deaf ears ? 😂

I do often wonder whether there are other people interested in eating healthier, saving money and becoming more self-sufficient ?

Everyday, I adore eating a huge bowl of lettuce and herbs grown in my container garden and because I don’t want to consume large quantities of pesticides, I make it a priority to grow my own vegetables.

Although I’ve been gardening for 9 years, I still find it challenging to grow vegetables having specific temperature and sunlight requirements, successfully to harvest.

And that’s where lettuce comes in. Little susceptible to diseases, lettuce germinates reliably within 3 days and you can harvest leaves from 8 weeks and for many months afterwards even in the shade !

With successive plantings, lettuce can grow all year round with vibrant green leaves boosting your health and your well-being in the cold and dark days of winter.

With Rooftop Veg, my “mission” is to share with you what I’ve learned and how you too could do the same—if you want ?
