Designed for Effortless Gardening
Each planter is made to measure at waist height. This thoughtful design makes tending to your plants, watering, and weeding a breeze, eliminating the strain of bending and kneeling.
To ensure long-lasting protection and a stunning finish, I employ traditional, non-toxic methods
Charring: The wood is selectively charred using the ancient Japanese technique of Shou Sugi Ban. This process naturally seals and preserves the wood, offering excellent resistance to weather, pests, and rot.
Tung Oil Finish: After brushing, a final coating of 100% pure Tung oil is applied. This natural, food-safe oil penetrates the wood fibers, enhancing the natural beauty and character of the wood while providing a durable and waterproof seal. No toxic products are used in the protection or finishing of these planters.
My Veg Bed planter box design is a modular system with a separate polystyrene foam box in which the plants grow.
Used in the food industry to package and keep fish products fresh, they do a fantastic job of insulating and protecting plants in the summer heat and the winter cold.
Ultra lightweight and strong, foam boxes are an effective barrier to wood rot while improving air circulation and product durability.
I deliver ready planted leaf-lettuce and herbs in early spring and mid-summer as well as tomatoes and cucumbers.
All plants are guaranteed and will be replaced free of charge if they grow poorly or become sick.
